A Morning Well Spent. Thank you very matcha!

Cheers to our second blog post of 2024! Overflowing with excitement, we're thrilled to share the magic that unfolded during my catch-up with the brilliant Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Nikki Phillips of @yourlastinghealth.

Nikki spilled the tea on matcha, revealing its extraordinary mind, body and beauty benefits. From combating inflammation to being a shield for aging (thanks to vitamins B and E), matcha is truly magic. Enter the secret weapon – L-theanine, promoting relaxation, improving our cognitive function, and bidding farewell to our anxiety. No more convincing needed – matcha has officially become a daily ritual for me!

I am obsessed with Nikki’s matcha latte recipe. Sharing the joy with you is my ultimate delight:

1. Sprinkle 1-2 satchets of Pique Sun Goddess Matcha Green Tea into your mug.
2. Pour in 1/4 cup of boiling water from your tea kettle and use frother to combine.
3. Heat things up with 1/2 cup of hot Elmurst Walnut Milk. You can do this by using Nikki's gorgeous Breville Nespresso maker to heat the walnut milk.
4. Froth the matcha and walnut milk together in your mug using frother.
5. Add a splash of organic maple syrup and customize the sweetness to your liking.
6. Finish it off with a dash of Ceylon cinnamon, known for its antioxidant properties, guarding against cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
